THEODORE ROOSEVELT DAVIS, JR.  
  Teddy Davis Jr. hails from Boston, Massachusetts. Interested in music from a very young age, he was already performing at age eight. Teddy both studied and taught at the New England Conservatory of Music during the years from 1966-1974. He served as the former lead vocalist with the Platters, singing with the Drifters, and background vocalist for Jimmy Vaughn of the Fabulous Thunderbirds. Most notably, Teddy Davis Jr stood out as lead vocalist for the world-renown Del-Vikings for 10 years. A truly memorable show was with the Drifters on the last Jerry Lewis Telethon in 2013. Mr. Davis continued to develop his musical style. He also has his own band, The Teddy Davis Jr. Group and performed his one-man show at the Marriot’s Grand Chateau for 5 years that ended during Covid-19. Throughout his musical career, Teddy Davis Jr. has performed in the US and abroad, combining his many talents. Along with production and musical direction, Mr. Davis’ talents also include serving as master of ceremonies, choreographing, dancing, singing, and playing more than eight instruments. He has lived in Las Vegas for 33 years. Currently, he performs locally with several different groups, as musical director, lead vocalist, and bass guitarist. Most recently Mr. Davis has performed at the South Point on the Dennis Bono Show, and at the various Henderson senior centers. He is an actor and teacher as well. You may recognize him as the narrator from the Blues School House program at the Mandalay Bay House of Blues. Mr. Davis is also an accomplished teacher of vocals, choreography, and many instruments at several of the local public schools and community centers.
